As a result this makes delivery of these products more difficult as most couriers will only delivery items directly to your door step. For customers who may have mobility issues or limited strength this can be particularly problematic as it can be difficult to bring large items into your home by yourself. In order to help our customers based in the UK we offer the option of an engineer’s delivery in order to aid you in receiving and setting up your new product.
With an engineer delivery your product will be delivered by a trained qualified engineer who will bring your item into your home. From there they will set up your product, making sure that it is fully working and if applicable that it is suitably fitted to the location you wish to use it. So that you are comfortable using your new item the engineer will give you a demonstration on operating the item. Once done they will remove all packaging from your home so you don’t need to worry about clearing this away afterwards.
This is a very helpful option to choose if you do not have anyone who can help you set up a large product and are not confident you can do this on your own. The option provides peace of mind as you do not have to worry about being stranded with your product on your doorstep. You can also rest assure that your product is working properly, ensuring you do not damage the item and that you operate it safely.
Ordering an engineer’s delivery is easy. When making an order on our website you can select the option to take this delivery method at the checkout. If ordering on the phone one of our discount mobility experts can add this to your order before payment. The cost of an engineer delivery for a single item is £80, for each additional item after the first it is an extra cost of £40 per item.
